Q: How do I expand my Games N Music cartridge to 2GB?

A: Simply check your local electronics stores for Micro SD cards. Most cards of this type should be able to be used with your Games N’ Music.

NOTE: High Capacity Micro SD (Micro SD HC) cards are not compatible with the Games 'N' Music.

Q: A card is inserted, but "No Media Card Found" appears; why?

A: Try formatting the card on your PC.

When the card is shown in My Computer as a removable drive, right-click on the drive and choose "Format". You should format the card using one of the FAT file formats.

After formatting, try dragging some data to the drive and accessing it on your DS. If the card is unable to be formatted on the PC, this may indicate a problem with the card itself. In this case, please contact your card’s manufacturer for more information.

Q: Games N Music did not come with a Micro SD Card; why?

A: The Micro SD card is easily overlooked and comes pre-inserted into the Games 'N' Music hardware. The MicroSD card can be found in the Micro SD slot at the top of the Games N Music Cartridge. Press down lightly on the Micro SD Card to release it from the cartridge.
