- If the code has more than one line, you will then choose “New Value” from the menu. You will then enter in your second line of code by repeating the previous step.
- Once you have entered in all lines of code go to “Code Select”. You will then be able to select the game you have just added by choosing “Game Select”.
NOTE: New codes will be saved to your memory card and will appear in your games list whenever you use Action Replay with your memory card inserted.
A: All of the codes for the Action Replay are listed in different code lists. When you turn on your Action Replay you will want to go into Options, you will then go into Code Lists. Once you are in here you will see the different code lists, use the D-Pad to move over to the right and choose which code list your game is listed under (alphabetically). From there you will then go into Select Game and choose the game that you want. Use the green triangle button to toggle the codes on/off, the star next to the code means that it is activated. Once you have selected your codes press start, choose “With Codes” and you will then be prompted to switch out your Action Replay disc for your game disc. Once you have your game disc in press X to load the game.
A: In order to use codes on your PlayStation games you will need to first start a new game. The game will not allow you to use codes on a saved game that you did not have codes activated on before. Once a new game is started with codes you will be able to load and save the game with those codes.
A: If the game is not loading when you try to play with codes you will need to reduce the number of codes that you are using at a time. There are also some PlayStation games that have codes that start with 5000, these codes will work fine on a PlayStation but if they are used on a PlayStation 2 the system will not be able to read them. To get the game to load on a PlayStation 2 you will need to turn off any codes the start with 5000.
