A: Unfortunately, some newer versions of the PS2 console are not compatible with early versions of Action Replay Max below Version 3.10. To check the version of your PS2, locate the sticker on the back of the system, beside the SONY logo there will be a number that starts with “SCPH”. If the following number is 50001 or 50010 then you have one of the new PS2 consoles.
Since the ActionReplay v2 has been discontinued for several years, since December 2003, and is not sold in stores, we no longer supply upgrade or replacement discs. We're sorry for the inconvenience.

A: There are two different versions of the Action Replay for the PlayStation 2.
If you own the Action Replay V2 you will need to use the codes specifically made for the AR V2, Action Replay MAX codes will NOT function on the V2.
check codejunkies.com for AR v2 codes.
A: Since the ActionReplay v2 has been discontinued since December 2003, and is not sold in stores, our code creation team no longer create new codes for AR v2. At this time all codes have been converted to Action Replay MAX. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you would like to purchase the Action Replay MAX you can check the codejunkies.com online store or your local video game retailer.
A: First, you will first need to verify that the codes are for the Action Replay v2 (not Action Replay Max), and try each set of codes to determine which set will function with your version of the game.
There are several different versions of the game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. (All three versions look and play the same.) The only difference between each version of the game is the programming. Slight changes in the way the game is 'coded' will cause Action Repay codes to not always function properly. In these instances a different set of ActionReplay codes is required for each game version released.
If you go to our website, www.codejunkies.com, you will see that we have three sets of codes for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, titled:
- Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
- Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (Bundle Pack)
- Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (Bundle Pack) v1.2
A: Unfortunately, the ActionReplay v2 was discontinued in December of 2003. Since it is no longer in production we do not have replacement discs available for this item.
