A: Since the PSP Action Replay key can only be used once, and becomes linked to the console it was activated on, purchasing a PSP Action Replay key from an eBay seller is extremely risk and is not guaranteed to work.
Do not trust any online reseller that does not provide a fully packaged and sealed version of the PSP Action Replay.
CodeJunkies.com is the only authorized online store that is guaranteed to provide 100% functional & unused product keys for the PSP Action Replay product. All purchases through unauthorized resellers are not supported by Datel and any problems must be resolved directly with the seller.
A: You can download the demo version from www.pspar.com. After the demo version has been installed, click on the "Go to codejunkies.com to purchase a license key" option to purchase the full version.
A: The Demo version of the Action Replay is available to download and install free of charge. This version will merely allow the user to view the current code list, become accustomed to the user interface, and verify that it loads properly with their PSP/PSP firmware. Codes found for games in the demo code list will only function if a license key is purchased and the full version of the Action Replay PSP is installed.
A: If you have already used your license key to install the full version of Action Replay PSP to a PSP console, an additional license key will need to be purchased.
The Action Replay PSP will only function on the first PSP console it is installed to.
A: Yes. Please keep your license key in a safe for use in the future. Your unique license key will be reqired if you need to reinstall your PSP AR, if a major update or upgrade to the Action Replay needs to be installed, or if you're having problems with your PSP AR.
A: Simply visit www.pspar.com and download the latest Action Replay PSP update to the “PSP/COMMON” folder on your PSP’s System Storage memory (PSP go) or Memory Stick. (Unless otherwise noted on www.pspar.com)
Once you have the update file on your PSP’s memory. Run Action Replay and it will automatically update to the new version.
NOTE: Some updates to the PSP Action Replay may require owners to use the Action Replay for PSP Installer PC Software. Your license key will be required to perform these updates, so be sure to keep it in a safe place for future use.
A: Simply reconnect your PSP / PSPgo to your PC with the USB cable and run the Action Replay for PSP Installer. Follow the same installation steps taken to originally install the Action Replay PSP.
Note: You MUST be reinstalling the Action Replay PSP to the same PSP console in which it was originally installed. The console ID and license key will only function on the first PSP console it is installed to.
A: Here are the differences between each version of the Action Replay PSP
Action Replay Max (Power Saves Version):
- Save based cheat device.
- Requires PC software to download, transfer and organize Power Saves.
- Discontinued / No longer supported.
Action Replay PSP (Battery Enabler Version):
- Code based cheat device.
- Requires a "tool battery" to enable servive mode on the PSP.
- Compatible with PSP 1000 & 2000 models only.
- Not compatible with all batteries.
- Incompatible with official PSP firmware version 6.20 and higher.
- Discontinued / No longer supported.
Action Replay PSP (Installer Version):
- Code based cheat device.
- Installed to the memory stick or internal memory of the PSP.
- Does not require the PSP to be in servive mode.
- Compatible with PSP 1000 / 2000 / 3000 / PSPgo models.
- Compatible with all current versions of official PSP firmware. (Highest version currently tested 6.20)

A: As new games are released Codejunkies code team add new codes to the Action Replay. To get the latest version of Action Replay with the latest games you can easily update online either via your PSP web browser or a computer which has internet access.
Updates for the Action Replay PSP will be available in the form of a file to download on www.pspar.com. Unless otherwise stated on the web page, you should download the update to the “PSP/COMMON” folder on your PSP’s System Storage memory (PSP go) or Memory Stick.
Once you have the update file on your PSP’s memory. Run Action Replay and it will automatically update to the new version.

A: Not every game available for the PSP is supported by the ActionReplay PSP. If a specific game does not have codes, or if you'd like to see a specific code created for a game you own, please visit codejunkies.com and use the code request feature.
Keep in mind that the code staff is busy creating groundbreaking cheats for as many games as possible for all of the various Action Replay game enhancer products available and cannot fill every code request.
A: There are several reasons why certain codes may not be functioning properly with your game.
- Game Region
Be sure you're using codes for the correct game region. You may be using codes for a non-US game on a game that was region coded as US. - Game Version
You may have a newer version of the game than what the codes were originally created for; possibly Greatest Hits version or version 1.1. - Game Format
Some codes are designed to work only with UMD based games, while others will only function with games purchased through the PlayStation Store and installed on the PSP/Memory Stick.
A: There are a few reasons why this might happen:
Firmware updates may be required:
- Verify that the Action Replay is up to date by visiting www.pspar.com and downloading the latest update available.
- Verify that your PSP firmware is up to date. Some older firmware versions are unable to load the latest version of the PSP AR. (v6.20+)
UMD™ Auto-Start on older PSP firmware versions may cause the PSP to power off when enabled with the Action Replay:
- At the PSP cross media bar menu, scroll to the far left & choose System Settings.
- Scroll down and select UMD™ Auto-Start.
- Change this setting to off.
- If this does not work, please besure to update your PSP to the lates versio nof SONY's official firmware.
There may be a problem with the code(s) you are attempting to use:
- Try using fewer codes at one time
- Be sure the codes you're attempting to use are for the correct game version and region.
Game Region:

- [US] = United States Games
- [EU] = European Games
- [JP] = Japanese Games
- (DL) = Downloadable Game
Codes designed specifically for the downloadable version of a game or a game that is Installed to the PSP / Memory Stick are marked in the Action Replay with (DL) in their title.
- (Greatest Hits) = Greatest Hits Version
Codes designed specifically for a revised game version that has been relesed as a Greatest Hits. These games are marked in the Action Replay with (Greatest Hits) in the title. (Not all Greatest Hits titles require a unique set of codes.)
- (v1.x) = Version 1.x of the game title
When a game has been revised and re-released, occasionally there will be a change in how codes work with that game. If a new set of codes needed to be created for a game that has multiple versions, the codes in the Action Replay will be marked with (v1.1), (v1.2), etc in the game title.
