By default, rapid fire is enabled on the right trigger (RT) button, however you can change which button, or buttons, are assigned to rapid fire.
NOTE: Pressing Function Button 2 will now toggle rapid fire on/off for all buttons that have been assigned rapid fire.
Step 2: Adjust Rapid Fire Speed
NOTE: Each time rapid fire is increased or decreased, you can easily see the speed setting by looking at the LED grip. The speed at which the LED grip flashes, is speed at which rapid fire enabled buttons will be activated.

If a developer feels that bullets, or punches, etc. are being delivered too quickly online, they are completely capable of patching their software to lower the acceptable rate of fire for online play.
The rapid fire feature of the TurboFire 2 controller can be customized to meet the maximum rate of fire for both online and offline gameplay.
