Q:I am having one of the following problems with Pokemon Fire-Red and Pokemon Leaf-Green Codes......
  1. None of the codes work.
  2. All Pokeballs showed up in my Key Items list.
  3. I can’t get the “encounter” Pokemon codes to work.

The Pokemon Fire-Red and Pokemon Leaf-Green codes have been revised and the new codes are now posted on our website, www.codejunkies.com.

There are two different versions of both Pokemon games and you will need to try a code off of each list (V1 & V2) to determine what version of the game you have and which codes you will need to use. All of these codes have been tested extensively and work 100%.

If you are having problems with any of these codes please note the following:

  • There are two lists of codes for each Pokemon game. Make sure when using codes off both lists, you also create two lists on your Action Replay, as the (M) codes for each list are different. For example, codes off of the list titled “Pokemon Fire V1 Pokemon” will only work with the (M) code for that list, while codes on the list titled “Pokemon Fire V1” will only work with the (M) code listed on that page. In other words, you cannot mix and match codes from different lists.

  • The (M) codes for Pokemon Fire/Leaf are incredibly important. If even one letter or number is entered incorrectly, none of the other codes will function properly (for example, all Pokeballs showing up in the Key Items pocket). Please ensure that every single character is entered exactly as it appears on the website. Also, you MUST name the code either (m) or (M).

  • Remember that you can only activate ONE Pokemon encounter code at a time. If you try to activate more than one Encounter code at a time the codes just simply will not function. You will need to activate one Encounter code, capture that Pokemon and save your game, then de-activate that code and activate a new Encounter code. Repeat this process of ALL of the Encounter codes.

  • There is a code titled “Main Encounter Code”, that code MUST be entered in and activated in order for the Pokemon encounter codes to work.

Please Note: You will only be able to use codes off of one list at a time. In other words, if you activate codes on the “Pokemon Fire V1” list and then go back into “Pokemon Fire V1 Pokemon” and activate codes on that list, only the codes activated on the “Pokemon Fire V1 Pokemon” list will function. If you want to use codes off of both lists, you will need to activate the codes you want on one list first, save your game, then go back to the other list and activate the codes you wish to use on that list.

Also, certain rare Pokemon, such as Mew and Deoxys, will not obey you unless you acquire them a special, legitimate way. We’ve put the codes for them on the site anyway for the benefit of being able to acquire them for your Pokedex.

For information on how to acquire rare Pokemon the correct way, a good free resource for tutorials and walkthroughs is www.gamefaqs.com.

Q: I added a Pokemon code for Pokemon Ruby or Pokemon Sapphire and I just got a bad egg; Why?

If you are having trouble with the Pokemon codes for Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire then you will need to check the code that you entered.

You MUST enter ALL of the lines of code. These codes MUST be entered EXACTLY as they are posted on www.codejunkies.com. If codes are entered incorrectly, several things could happen; the code will not function at all, the game may lock up / freeze, or you'll receive a Bad Egg.

A Bad Egg will not hatch into anything.
