Action Replay Max for the PSP uses Powersaves instead of codes for game enhancement. All Powersaves may be accessed through your PSP Action Replay PC software. • Requires a "tool battery" to enable servive mode on the PSP.
• Compatible with PSP 1000 & 2000 models only.
• Not compatible with all batteries.
• Incompatible with official PSP firmware version 6.20 and higher.
• Discontinued / No longer supported.

Action Replay PSP (Installer Version):

• Code based cheat device.
• Installed to the memory stick or internal memory of the PSP.
• Does not require the PSP to be in servive mode.
• Compatible with PSP 1000 / 2000 / 3000 / PSPgo models.
• Compatible with all current versions of official PSP firmware. (Highest version currently tested 6.20)
• New codes and software updates will be released regularly and can be downloaded from www.pspar.com

The Action Replay Max software has the ability to access saves for PSP games from different regions. However, if a save from a region other than US is copied to your PSP, it will not be shown when loading a save in a US game. Each save should be labeled with its region in the PC software, so ensure only US region saves are downloaded.

You may also filter which saves are viewed so that only US saves are shown. To do this, click on Options, and place a check mark in the bubble next to US under the option “Show Saves”.

If your PSP is not automatically detected by your PC software, please try the following solutions.

• Ensure that you have updated your software to the highest version currently available. Updates may be created frequently, so please be sure to check for them often. Updates will usually be downloaded through your Options menu.
  
  
• Verify that your PSP is in USB mode before attempting to detect it within the software or transfer data. Turn on your PSP and enter the Settings menu to find the option to enter USB mode.
  
  
• Within the options menu, you may also select to direct data transfer to a specific removable drive. Double-click on My Computer, and the PSP should be shown as a Removable Disk. After this title, a letter will be shown in parentheses. This is the drive letter that should be specified in the options menu of the software to manually direct data transfer. If your PSP is recognized automatically, please ensure the drive letter specified for the removable disk in My Computer matches the one assigned to the PSP in the PC software.
  
  
• Your PSP memory card may need to be formatted first in order to receive data. Consult your PSP manual for the proper procedure for formatting the memory card.
  
  
• Try connecting the device to a different USB port. If one of your USB ports is not functioning properly, it may cause a problem when the software tries to detect your PSP.

If no removable drive is shown in My Computer when your PSP is connected and in USB mode, then unfortunately the drivers may not be properly installed for the device.

Since most modern versions of Windows will automatically detect and install the PSP as a removable drive, drivers were not included with the PSP Action Replay Max or Max Media Manager software. In this case, we recommend contacting Microsoft or Sony to obtain a Device Driver for the PSP and your version of Windows, as well as instructions for this driver’s installation.

Answer:

Although the PSP Action Replay Max and Max Media Manager software both include conversion utilities for sending various types of video clip files to your PSP, music files must be of the format .mp3 in order to be sent to the PSP. Please ensure the music files you are trying to transfer have the extension .mp3, or are identified as MP3 files when file properties are viewed. To view the file properties for an icon, right-click on that icon and choose Properties from the small menu that appears.
